Personal Statement

My goal is to find a great place to earn my college degree while playing baseball.  I have played and loved the game since I was 4.  My passion for this game is matched by few kids my age and I practice some aspect of it every day.  I am certain I will play in college because I will do what is necessary to develop my skills.  As you watch me mature and develop over the next couple of years, you will see me become a young man who contributes in a variety of ways to your program.  In addition to my desire to be great at baseball, I work hard in all of my classes and have earned 99% and above for the year in each one of them.  I am proud of this but give the glory back to God who has blessed me with an amazing work ethic and a true concern for giving 100% to whatever task I work towards.  I am proud to add that I have been lifting consistently, in order to get stronger for baseball.  My latest accomplishments in the weightroom are: Bench 1RM, 210.    Squat 1RM, 290.     Deadlift 1RM, 365.
