Personal Statement

Hello, 

I am currently a senior at Hasting High School and a starter for the Varsity team.  Last year, due to Covid-19, I was not able to play high school ball, but, during my sophomore year of high school, I was one of three captains and a starter on the Junior Varsity team.  Also, I was invited to play with the Varsity team during tournament play.  

For the past four years, I participated in the Crossroads Fall Wooden Bat league out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Also, prior to high school, I played baseball through our community's travel league, SCMYB, from 3rd - 8th Grade.  

My GPA is tracking just above a 2.5 out of 4.0.  I'm am very interested in attending a university that has an Engineering Design program.  I would love to play baseball at the collegiate level and open to attending a university that I can find the right balance between both, my education and playing ball.
