Grand Slam 7-9-2015Personal Statement
My goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level but my dream is to play in the MLB. I recently tried out for the Atlanta Braves in Danville, VA and they asked me if I was commissioned then realized I was only 16 years old at that time.
I was also just recently invited to the UA Preseason ALL AMERICAN in Mesa, AZ which I will be attending over MLK weekend 2017.
I am either on the field practicing or in an Elite program at 2SP for my winter training.
I am a very coachable 6' catcher and third baseman. What makes me unique is I can bat right and left handed equally.
I am structured, disciplined, and loyal and have been told I am a silent leader on and off the field.
As a second degree black belt registered with the Kukkiwon in Korea, I have medaled in two Junior Olympic events. I know what it takes to win and the hard work and discipline it takes to get there.
As for academics, I have never been a great test taker but I do understand the materials and am willing to ask for help when needed. I understand as a coach you are looking for a player that can perform on and off the field.
