Lane Helsel '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal for college is to attend a university and play baseball for them. I am undecided on my field of study. I am very interested in wildlife biology or a possible business degree to maybe start my own business one day.

I am a Junior at Manton Consolidated high school, and I have a 3.75 GPA. I'm a part of National Honor society and a student council member.

I have played varsity baseball since my freshman year, playing several different positions including first base, short stop, pitcher and catcher. I played basketball my sophomore year, and football my Junior year and plan to play my Senior year as well.  I started playing travel baseball when I was 11 for Cadillac Blue and Gold all the way through my Freshmen year.  

Baseball is a passion of mine, and it has always been a dream of mine to play at the collegiate level. I am excited to see where my academic and athletic career will go.
