For as long as I can remember, I have loved baseball. Since my first experiences on the pitching mound, I have had the opportunity to work with several baseball and sports fitness trainers. I have learned a great deal about body mechanics and want to continue exploring the field of kinesiology in college. I would like to use the information that I learn to help other athletes grow, just as those coaches have helped me.
On and off the field, I see myself as a natural leader. As Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 80 boy scouts, I led in person and remote scout events during the COVID quarantine year. I have also served as a leader in my church youth group by working with younger youth, teaching them how to run the technology used in youth worship services.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically. I know how to operate both as part of a team and as a team leader. I believe I have the talent and work ethic to be an asset to a college team.
