Personal Statement
I love playing baseball. Who am I?
I will be the first one to practice and stay late to continue to get better. I am very "coach-able" and seek an opportunity to play college baseball at the highest level against the best competition. I am versatile and willing to play any position at a high level, usually I play at shortstop. I am willing to sacrifice for the good of the team because we win as a team. I have been fortunate to play for winning teams. I expect to win and help lead and motivate my teammates to work harder and get better, whether in baseball or as a football QB or a guard in basketball.
My coaches never have to worry about my academics or GPA because I push myself in the classroom too. I am willing to push myself to continue to improve which includes extra training, skills work and following a training program and nutrition plan set by my coach. I demonstrate my commitment to excellence daily by taking college level PSEO classes as a junior in high school. I go over 80 miles each way to train daily in the tundra I call home called Minnesota.
