Personal Statement

My name is Jake Matthys and I am currently a Junior at Spring Lake Park High School. I am 5'10" 165 pounds and have started varsity baseball since the middle of freshman year. As a sophmore I earned All-Conference Honorable Mention. In the fall and winter I play for Minnesota Baseball Academy. In the summer of 2010 I tried out for the USSSA national baseball team and made first team USSSA.

In college I look to get a degree in either sports psycology or exercise science. I also look to continue playing baseball at the highest level possible.
