Personal Statement
I have played baseball as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of my dad and I playing tee-ball when I was four years old. He taught me baseball isn't just about a game. It's much like life. You make mistakes, bad decisions, and some days just aren't your day. However if you surround yourself with a good family, good teammates, and good coaches, they will help pick you up and you can overcome any obstacle. I want to get a good education. That will sustain you long after sports is gone. If I get to play ball while getting an education, that would be a dream come true.
When I go on the field my goal is to be better than I was the last time I ran out of the dugout. I dont compete with my teammates or even my competitors. I compete to be better than I was yesterday.
