Personal Statement
My passion for baseball started when I was 4 years old. I loved the game then, and I love it even more now. I've always wanted to play baseball on a collegiate level and dream of going further. I know that playing on the next level requires a lot of hard work and I'm willing to work very hard to succeed.
I am a leader on my varsity team. My parents taught me that every good leader, leads by example and this is what I try to do. I want to be coached and pushed to excel far above my expectations. I will listen and keep a positive attitude and work hard on every detail as I'm taught. I do and will always respect my coaches and teammates to the fullest. I will strive to be the hardest working player on the field but also in the classroom. It is important that I maintain Honor Roll and achieve my goals in class also. I volunteer in my community and I will continue to help others in my future.
My goals are to further my education with a degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), to be a leader academically and on the field, and to help inspire younger athletes to follow their dreams and be the best they can be at everything they do.
