Kyle Fitzgerald '17 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to be a dominate force as a pitcher or catcher at the collegiate level as well as keeping a high GPA. Its always been my dream to compete at the highest level of college baseball every since I was little, and I won't stop till I accomplish my dream! I've spent countless days at the baseball field throwing long toss, fielding ground balls, and hitting in the cage. If you were to ask any of my coaches and I'll promise you they will say I'm hardest working player on the team. I'm dedicated to be the best I can be and will prove to do so.

The reason I am a good candidate for your team is because I am a hard worker, leader, and always strive to be the best. I spend hours after practice either running extra, hitting more, or helping other team mates with any extra work they would like to do. As well as being a leader on the baseball field I am leader on the football field as well. Being the varsity quarterback for my team as a sophomore, I had to earn the respect of my team mates to show them I have what it takes to take the reigns as the leader and be the face of our team. Working as hard as I could and doing anything extra that I could to get that edge I did, and it showed to my brothers. Earning everyone on the teams respect I proved to them I am the leader that the team needed. I have what your team needs to be a standout player and leader on the team. I constantly strive to be better as well as push my team mates to be better! Baseball is a team sport which is why I push everybody to be there best because when we all work as hard as we can anything is possible.

The reason I am different from other recruits is because  I not only show my sportsmanship, good attitude, and leadership on the field I do it off the field as well. I study and work as hard as I possibly can to get and maintain the high GPA I want. I am in advanced placement Chemistry and English. I currently have a  99% in Advanced English! I know I have all the attributes to be a role model, leader, and great player to be on your team!
