Personal Statement

Hello,

NCSA Baseball Recruiters and College Baseball Coaches and Programs,

I am a freshman in college at Mineral Area College and I graduated from East Carter High School in 2016. I played baseball all four years of High School and was a varsity player all four years and started as our varsity catcher and in the outfield my senior year. Then after high school I continued on and played on a Senior Travel Showcase Baseball team in the summer of 2016 along with 4 college baseball athlete's, and did very well playing with and against college level athlete's from many different area's around. I have a very hard work ethic and great devotion to hard work as a player and in the class room. I have completed college school work successfully in college this year and I have a strong relationship with the lord and I am Christian and a Baptist. I am a very good team player as well. I have also currently been work on skill drills with a high level baseball trainer and have been doing workouts for about the past two months. I am willing to be very devoted to baseball at the college level and want to be a contributing player at the college level.

Our team played at college fields in Missouri and Arkansas against other college and high school athletes. We faced, average speed college pitchers for the most part and I had the highest batting average on our team I believe. Our team had 6 Junior College players that are now playing on college teams in Missouri, and Illinois this 2017 collegiate season.
