I am a Team Player that always wants to win. My ultimate goal in baseball is to be a Starting Pitcher in the MLB. Another goal is to attain a degree from a top tier D1 college while helping lead that team to a College World Series appearance as a Friday Night Starter. Additionally, I want to lead my HS Team to Back-to-Back State Championships in MO these next two years!
I am the son of an Army Officer and have lived in Honolulu, HI for the past 3 years (2014-2017) - but, we relocated to the Kansas City area in July of 2017. I will be attending Staley HS in KC MO - Excited to play for David Wilson and the Staley Falcons Baseball team! There are a lot of schools I am interested in - I am not constrained by a specific region. Although I would call Minnesota my home (where most of my family still lives), I have lived all over the country and am open to any location. Because we have moved a lot and I have attended a total of 7 schools, I feel like I can adjust quickly to situations and am very resilient. This resiliency helps me on the mound - as I am able to focus and rebound quickly after a bad pitch, play, or hit.
I had a very solid year as a Sophomore Starting Pitcher in Spring of 2017 for the Mid-Pacific Institute Owls of the Interscholastic League of Hawaii (ILH). I made big strides throughout the year and was very happy with my control - my strikeout to walk ratio (3.3 to 1) ranked at the top of the league.
I began playing with the Complete Game KC Tigers immediately upon arriving to KC MO, and have had great success in the three tourneys I played with them (Prospect Wire Music City Classic 16U (29JUN-2JUL), the Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) Showcase (6-9JUL), and the Mid-America 16U World Series at University of Missouri (13-16JUL)). My strikeout to walk ratio has been phenomenal (11.5 to 1) and my opponents batting average is at .177.
I'm also playing for Mitch Spiers' Team California. I played in the 17U USA Nationals West with Team California 2019 (16-13JUN) and at the PG 17U World Series (20-24JUL). I plan on playing with them again at the 17U Arizona Fall Classic. Again, my control and command have really been impressive with Team Cal against very good competition; my strikeout to walk ratio is at 14 to 1 and opponents batting average is at .040.
I've hit the books hard my sophomore year to increase my GPA from 3.2 to near 3.5. I plan on continuing to work hard on ACT/SAT Prep this summer while I continue to get stronger/faster.
