Personal Statement

My goal is to use my passion for baseball to motivate me to always work hard and strive for excellence in all areas of my life. I want to continue to prioritize my academic success by graduating in the top 10% of my high school class and taking dual credit classes to prepare me for my major in sports medicine / physical therapy in college. Despite any obstacles that come my way, I will continue to commit myself to personal growth and push myself to be better. While I strive for perfection, I will also focus on developing a healthy relationship with failure and learning from my mistakes.

We have a goal on our high school baseball team

"1% better than the day before."

The saying emphasizes the importance of incremental progress and continuous improvement. In baseball, it means working on small improvements daily to become a better player. In life, it means striving to improve oneself daily, setting achievable goals, and not getting discouraged by challenges. Success is often the result of sustained effort and continuous pursuit of improvement, rather than instant success. Consistency and persistence can lead to achieving goals over time.
