When I think about my future college career, I have two goals:
I've spent most of my life preparing for and working toward both of these goals. Although my commitment to my education is most important, I balance that with my commitment to the game. I've built a reputation as a dedicated, reliable, coachable player who give his all.
And yet, while I give much of myself to baseball, it has also given a lot to me. Baseball has:
In short, baseball has made me, me. Whether my role is to be a leader or a learner, the game has helped me become an honorable 16-year old with a strong work ethic, a quick-witted personality, and a skill set that helps me succeed both on and off the field. I'm ready to help a coach who's looking to complete his or her team, and I'm ready to be a positive representative of the school I attend.
