Personal Statement
The three biggest things that have impacted my life the greatest are my family, friends, and my relationship with baseball. I have always loved baseball, even before I could play, but as soon as I had the opportunity to play, I took it. Baseball has had a huge impact in my life, it has taught me valuable life lessons like, staying positive even when life hits hard and remaining confident in my abilities. Baseball has also taught me how to be a team player and how to be coachable. I have learned a lot about baseball from every one of my coaches, and strive to improve my skills as a baseball player now and in the future.
I want to play at the highest level I can achieve, and continue to grow to my highest potential as a person and as a baseball player. I believe playing at the college level will help me grow in both of these aspects. When I play on a team I want to do everything I can do to help the team win. Whether it’s helping the team on the field, or cheering them on in the dugout. Being coachable, having a positive attitude, and determination are three of my best attributes. I am confident that with these attributes I possess, I will be an asset to your team.
