Camron Casso '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cam Casso and I am fully committed to taking this sport I love onto the next level. I first got into baseball by just playing in my back yard as a little kid and ultimately falling in love with the pressure of it and the competitiveness. I’m very competitive on and off the field trying to play the best of my ability to help win and also to get good grades in the classroom to represent myself to others. Something that really motivates me to want to do better and be the best me is knowing that other people are working just as hard and that I want to stand out by our working anybody. On the field a big part in helping a team is to keep the guys mentally focused and up beat and tempo because when anybody gets down on themselves in this sport is when everything goes down hill. A strong trait that I possess on the field is constantly making contact with the ball when hitting and getting on base whenever I can and to drive in runs. I love the pressure of fielding ground balls as well, knowing that the play is in my control is a big part of why I love to play baseball and want to take it to the collegiant level to compete.
