My name is Eric Creech and I go to Troy Buchanan High School. I am 5’10 and I weigh 150lbs. Due to my size I have been told by coaches all my life to live in the middle infield. In 2017 as a freshmen I started second base for my school team but in summer ball I started at short stop. This year 2018 I start again at second base but also am moved around to short quite a bit. In the batting lineup I mainly bat lead off or second, but I have also batted eight and nine. I have pitched on my summer ball team but not for highschool. It is not my strongest suit but I would like to work on it in the future.
Speaking of the future, for college I am open to everything as of right now. I live in Troy Missouri and am kind of in the middle of everything. I would like to major in physical therapy. However, I would like a school not to small or to big. Education is key, and I like to stay in contact with my teachers as much as possible to maintain my GPA. I have always been good in school and am taking one honors course and two college courses as a Junior in highschool which isn’t common. I believe with my hard work in school I can compete for a scholarship for education and in addition to that with my dedication to baseball I think I can receive a scholarship for sport as well. My goal is to reach the next level for baseball and continue to get better.
Thank you for taking your time to read my personal statement.
