Personal Statement
I was a four sport athlete at Butte Central High School. I competed in Football, Basketball, Track, and Baseball. I also had a GPA of 4.02 and I was a member of the National Honor Society. I was also Academic All State in Football (4x), Basketball (3x), and Track (3x).
I graduated from Butte Central in 2021 and then went to Montana Tech for two years on an NAIA football scholarship as an Oredigger running back. After the 2022 football season, I made the difficult decision to forego my scholarship and leave the football program at Montana Tech in order to take a shot at playing college baseball.
I also finished my American Legion baseball career just last summer (2022). My team, the Butte Miners, won the conference, district, state, and regional championship. I batted .357 on the season with 56 hits in 47 games. I am most proud of my post season stats in which I batted .500 with 23 hits in 13 games including 4 doubles and 3 triples. Four of my teammates signed with college baseball teams after the season.
I want to compete in college baseball while I obtain a graduate level education. I believe I will be an asset to any program and I am looking forward to become a college baseball player and being part of more championship baseball.
