Hi, my name is Xavier Nunn. I have been playing baseball since I can remember. My biggest collegiate goal is to be successful. Being successful would mean continuing my baseball career past the college level, or earning a degree that will set me up to start my professional career in the workforce. Hopefully it will end up being both.
Something that makes me different from other athletes is that I am a hard worker on and off the field, and I help the team any way I can. One of the ways that I help my team is by dedicating some of my freetime to help take care of the fields and make sure that they are in good shape. I am also a good leader for the team, support my teammates, and always have a positive attitude. In the past, when I went to baseball camps, I was complimented many times on my character and how I was a great leader. For example, there were multiple years I was selected out of my age group to receive the sportsmanship award. I have also been recognized by my teachers and peers as one of the nicest and smartest kids in my grade. I have had a 4.0 GPA for the past 4 years, and I was awarded the President’s Award for Educational Excellence.
Playing college baseball has been a dream of mine and I will continue to work hard to successfully accomplish that goal.
