Christian Berry '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christian Berry and I'm a Junior at Ralston High School. My family, friends, and sports have made me the person I am today. I've been playing baseball since I can remember, I was always around the sport and I fell in love with the game. Baseball has taught me a lot about myself, I've learned that being a grinder is necessary so I'm always in the weight room and taking batting practice when no one is watching. It has also shown me that I am a natural leader and that is needed on a team. I have the ability to impact people positively both on and off the field, I feel that I can brighten up the day. I also influence my teammates when it comes to inspiring them or boosting morale at the moment that it is needed. 

During my Sophomore season I sustained a thumb injury that required surgery. I was out for seven weeks and had to watch my team from the side. Nothing else has driven my passion for playing more than the inability to train and play. While I was out I had the opportunity to learn more about the game from the coaching side. The relationships I have made with my coaches are amazing. I talk to them daily about baseball and life and I would consider them my mentors.  

I've always had dreams of playing at the college level. I'm willing to do what it takes to get there. I not only know that I have the talent but the character and work ethic to impact your program in a positive way.
