Joey Forslund '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi. My name is Joey Forslund. I want to start off by saying that when I set a goal for myself, I always strive to accomplish that goal. College has been a goal I have prioritized in my life! The thought of being an athlete in college has always motivated me to work hard in the classroom. I've always been a hard worker on and off the field in anything I do. I am a clean minded kid who has a desire to play the amazing game of baseball. On the field, I am a very encouraging and a positive teammate. I bring my A game to the field daily. I can say that I am very coachable and a good listener. 

One thing that separates me from some people is my faith. I was saved by God as a young boy and I live in a God-filled home. Every action I take in my life is all in the Lord's hands. From the moment I begin a difficult test, to the last play in the 7th inning, God is with me. 

Unlike many people I know, I work hard to receive good grades. School has always been a top priority for me and that attitude has never left me. Baseball has never ceased to amaze me. I have always had a desire to be better at the game than I was the day before. I have played this way through Little League, Club Ball, High School, and soon to be, College. You can expect the same attitude from me for your team every single day. I appreciate the time you have given me to read this. I hope to bring my A game to your team soon. Thank you.
