Personal Statement
From playing Little Leauge and Travel baseball in South Lyon Michigan to Travel Baseball in Dubai, UAE and now Highschool baseball at Faith Lutheran H.S and for Southern Nevada here in Las Vegas, NV each and every coach has emphasized the importance of commitment to hardwork, practice, team work and always going the extra mile, both on and off the field.
I have taken these core values to heart and applied them into my everyday life, both at home as well as at school where I like to challenge myself with advanced Honor classes.
A few years ago while attending Coopers Town, NY , our team from South Lyon, MI became to be known as the “comeback team” due to our repeated unwillingness to give up when the game otherwise seemed done and over with. Instead we pulled together and fought back and won several games which many had already written us off from. Although we did not go on to the finals, as a player and team we proved and exemplified that the core values of baseball hold true.
Academically I hope to be able to follow my families footsteps and combine my love for baseball and aviation. It is my intention to push forward and take my love for baseball as far as it takes me, and I will be enjoying and loving every step of the way. While winning a game or tournament is great, but the road getting there is priceless. I can’t wait to see where this road leads me, what I do know is that the lessons learned will last a life time.
