First and foremost, on and off the field, I give all glory to god, without him, I wouldn’t be me. I'm a firm believer in hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work. I give it my all in the classroom, weight room and on the field. I'll always do what's best for the team and push others. I'm a leader by the way I carry myself on the field, I do everything I can to be prepared and ready for when it's time to play. I'm always working on my craft and always looking for ways to improve. What makes me different from other recruits is that I WANT to practice, I WANT to get stronger, I WANT to get better every day, I just love playing the game! My main goal in every aspect of life is to win, I hate losing and will do whatever it takes to win. I’m originally from Minnesota and moved to Vegas when I was 14. Up until high school I played football, basketball and hockey my whole life to go along with baseball. Also did BMX as a kid.

- This was all done with a injured arm. Drew is a solid, strong catcher who has a promising future on the diamond. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times showed in the 2.13 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and presents a soft mitt out front and utilizes his body through the blocking process. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying solid hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (91 mph exit velocity off tee) and work through level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to all fields. Lower half works well through the swing and maintains balance. With 3 years to further develop, Drew has a lot of potential and will get looks from the college coaches as he continues to progress his game.
