I’ve played baseball since I was 4 years old and always enjoyed playing especially with my older brother. My goal is to play college baseball at the highest level I can and I have been working on that goal as hard as possible. Everyday of the week I do something consisting of lifting, hitting, bullpens or normal practice.
I'm also a two year varsity football player and go to every practice and off season workout. By doing this I earned a starting spot on the defense my junior year. I was also All-State east conference honorable mention. I believe my hard work and leadership was noticed by my teammates which earned me the name of co-captain for the varsity team this upcoming year. Being the captain for a very competitive football program is teaching me to lead a team on and off the field. This will make me a better leader whether I'm catching in a game or sitting on the bench.
Also despite my busy schedule with sports I still get A’s and B’s. Education is important to me because it gives me a better opportunity for my future. I hope to play at the next level for a competitive team and push myself academically. In baseball I find joy in just stepping onto the field and playing my heart out with my friends and I hope to continue that in the college level.
