Personal Statement
I've loved baseball since before I could even walk and that's something that has stuck with me throughout my life. It was always my favorite sport, but over the years I have learned to love it more and more. I've learned more about life just from baseball than many other things I have experienced, and that will always push me to get to the next level and keep playing. Coaches over the years have instilled values in me that I could never forget, like working hard physically and mentally both on and off the field. In my opinion, baseball requires the most mental strength and focus out of its athletes than any other sport. That is just as important, if not more so, as the physical aspect of the game and I have learned a lot about that by playing. I would like to continue a high academic career throughout college and make sure I am getting a good education along with the privilege to keep playing baseball. I will put 100% into both athletics and academics wherever I land for the next step in my career.
