PJ Hanisak '18 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations included going to a four-year college and getting a degree in Sports Medicine, and then moving onto graduate school to become an doctor that focuses on athlete-specific injuries. Ever since I was a young athlete I've had in interest in knowing how my body works and wanting to take care of it. I see a difference between the way I train and the way some of my teammates train that I think gives me an edge as an athlete. Coaches tell me that I'm a hard worker, I'm confident, and that I push my other teammates to be their best. I believe that the team is what makes the individual great, so I think that makes me a good leader for my teammates. Baseball is my passion; there are few things I love more than this sport, and I have that same drive for baseball that I have for learning.
