I am Steven Bishop of Albuquerque, NM. I have played baseball since I was six years old. I am a left handed pitcher. I pitched and played 1st base for Valley High School and NM Elite. In the 2012 season I pitched the winning game with 13 strike outs to win district. My school gave me the Cy Young award and I was given an honorable mention for pitching by the All Metro. I was excited to play my senior year and planned to be noticed. I pitched a perfect game 4-27-13 and was noticed. I was excited to continue playing in college.
I love baseball more than any other sport or activity I participate in. I want to play baseball in college more than anything. I would like to go as far as I can with baseball and play at the highest level of competition. I will continue to work hard and be the best I can be. I continue to work on my pitching skills. The coaches love my change up. They call me Robo/Robot because of my mechanics. My goal is to increase my speed and make an impact on any team that I have the opportunity to play with.
I plan to go to college and earn a degree and make my family even more proud of me. At this time I am thinking about Exercise Wellness, EMT/Fire Science or Sports Medicine as a degree I will work towards. It will more than likely have something to do with sports.
