Personal Statement
Over the course of my high school career I have developed a deep love for the game of baseball. I've played baseball for as long as I can remember with one goal in mind, to win a state championship. I accomplished that goal in both my sophomore and junior seasons. Winning those state championships I realized that it was time for a new goal; playing the game I love at the next level and being successful at it. I hate to lose and I would almost do anything not to lose. However I would never change my character or respect for the game. Through my experiences I've learned that self-discipline and the will to prepare are the most important factors to being a successful student-athlete. I expect nothing less than the best from myself and my teammates and have been the leader of both my basketball and baseball team according to my coaches. I have maintained a great academic profile through high school and compete and perform my best in every aspect of my life. I am prepared and committed to be a productive part of your team.
