Joseph Ferraro '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joe Ferraro, I am 6´0 and weigh 162 pounds.  I have been playing baseball my whole life and it all started with a game of catch in the backyard. At a young age, I knew baseball was the game for me and I would want to play in college. What made me want to be a pitcher was watching special players like Jared Weaver, CC Sabathia, Justin Verlander, Roy Holiday, and Max Scherzer.  As a pitcher, I was taught at a young age to limit walks and as I got older that is what I´ve mastered. The thing that sets me apart from everyone else is my mindset. My mindset as a pitcher is always thinking about the big picture. I could be in whatever situation and my mind is thinking, how can I get out of the situation without allowing the crooked number. Lastly, I am an energetic kid with a big passion for the game and I am willing to give it my all to whatever program I go to.
