I grew up playing basketball, as my family loves basketball. Although I was playing basketball throughout my second to eighth grade school years, I always had special connection with baseball. I've never played it before but the sport wrapped itself around, whether it was throwing a ball at the dunk tank, or mini games at the amusement park, everything to me seemed baseball related. So my first year in high school arrived and I decided give baseball a try. I made the team but my playing time wasn't much as I lacked the experience to play at a high school level. I didn't have baseball IQ at the time but I did have the athletic ability to keep playing. My coach Gheraldi whipped me into shape. I trained hard seven days a week, day and night. it was weight lifting at the gym three days a week and baseball training every other day. I've trained so hard I hadn't realized it until my sophomore season arrived and I became a starting third basemen and Team captain of the junior Varsity team. The same applies to junior year as starting third baseman and team captain of the varsity team. Also It wasn't only my physical ability that improved in the sport but also my IQ of the sport. I've played in the 2017-18 summer baseball travel team with the Cage Warriors, an AAU team where the competition is much more greater than the high school league. Ive seen a lot and learned a lot and my ability to adapt to situations really came in clutch for some games. My work ethic is important and beneficial to me, but its not what makes me the player I am. what makes me the player I am is the fire Inside me, the will, the passion to play. No matter the odds, no matter who is on the mound, no matter who is up to bat, I will not falter. Rather I will take my abilities and use it to the makes, as I have no limit.
