Kolden McCall '24 Recruiting Profile

       I enjoy many kinds of sports and hobbies but the main one that really stands out to me is baseball. I'm not really sure why this is, but all I know is that I keep on wanting to play more and more of it especially pitching.  There really isn't much like it.
     I’m a 6‘2 “, left handed pitcher who has directed my focus to becoming a quality left handed pitcher.  I have been regularly working with a pitching coach. I am also part of the Erie Steelheads travel team and Jamestown Babe Ruth league.
     Being only in high school, I really don’t know what type of collegiate goals to strive for but I always strive to be the best student athlete I can be. I would be a great candidate for your team because I do what is asked and I strive to do what is expected of me, I'm a team player and willing to do things for the betterment of the team. I always put my best foot forward to perform at 100 percent. The reason I feel that I’m different from the other recruits on this platform is because I’m willing to put in the extra work outside of practice to make myself better. From playing sports, I learned that I‘m a competitive person with a desire to succeed.  Also from playing sport,  I was able to sustain and build of the drive to better myself everyday.

      Some people who have influenced who I am today are my parents, Coach Sean Roof, my little league coach, Mr. Yohe, and my cousin, Kane McCall who was also a college baseball pitcher.
