Cameron Hurlburt '16 Recruiting Profile

My main goal is to play baseball at a division one university.  I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. My life goal is to receive a Major in Criminology, and become a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I can play a wide variety of positions on the baseball field at the Varsity Level, such as: Any outfield position, shortstop, second base, third base, and preferably a right handed pitcher. I throw a four seam fastball, two seam fastball, 2-7 curve ball, 12-6 curve ball, slider and change up. The strongest games I have ever pitched was a 16 strike out, 3 hitter versus the second ranked team in our section (PHS), at the Junior Varsity level, and an 11 strike out, 1 hitter vs The Montreal Prospects AAA team, for a 19u travel team. I have a lot of fun playing the game of baseball, but at the same time take it very seriously, and don't like to lose, but can handle losing well. I love to listen to coaches and take advice from them and other players, trainers, coaches, and other players with knowledge of the game. I learn mainly by watching others, and if I have a hard time with something I practice it over and over again until I get it. I always try my hardest and never give up no matter whatever the score be, winning by lots, or losing by lots. I will always give my all and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
