James Marte '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8" middle infielder, third basemen, and catcher from Queens, NY. I have started on the High School for Arts and Business Varsity Baseball Team for 3 years and earned Most Improved award last season. I have a 75.13 GPA and a 1000 SAT score. I am looking for a college or university where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I am interested in any school that has a good athletic program. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have high need. I would like to pursue a college or university with an excellent academic reputation in the field of Criminal Justice. Ideally, my attitude, discipline, and althelic environment would be one where I could make an impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the NJCAA's Division 1, NAIA, and NCAA Division 2, my main goal at those levels is to play as a freshman.
