Baseball is a game of adjustments, it has been my passion for over ten years, I love the game. I like to compete with others at a high level, the challenge is a thrill to me. Through this journey, my goal is to make the best of its opportunities and learn from this experience. I am a versatile team player supporting one another no matter the circumstances. Working hard as a team, sharing our skills, and having a strong bond as one unit is what makes this game special. As a both a pitcher and utility player, I am confident I could contribute my energies to the the team and help the team be successful. I am a coachable player that can take criticism and build upon my flaws.
I manage to prep and take academics seriously that will fulfill my future success. Academics are of the utmost importance and something I have diligently pursued throughout my life. I currently have a 90 GPA, and made the Honor Roll list for the last 3 years during High School. I am a member of the Council for Unity at my school and completed a College Now Course - Algebra/Trig. As for community service, I am an active participant in the Beacon Program at the Community House of JHS 190 in Forest Hills, N.Y, which has helped me grow as a leader both on and off the field. I also attended a Cisco Stem Course in Manhattan to learn about the development of software and hardware, an area in which I am interested along with sports management.
On the field, I am a two-time captain for varsity soccer and was destined to be the baseball captain for 2020. I have started on both teams for three years, but baseball is my main focus. I am a key Utility player on the field (Catcher, SS and Pitcher). As a freshman in 2018, I was the lead catcher guiding the team into a perfect winning season (20-0) to capture our first PSAL Championship at MCU Park home of the Brooklyn Cyclones.
