Personal Statement
My name is TJ Mulroy. I am a senior at one of New York State’s top college preparatory schools, Saint Anthony’s High School located in South Huntington. My goal is to attend a college that challenges me, earn a degree in business or sports management, and play baseball at the highest competitive level possible. I have always been a starter and a captain. This role fits me well because I give 100% in everything I do. I will bring that same passion and dedication to any college and baseball team that I am a part of.
I’ve never been one of the biggest players on the field but I don’t let that stop or define me. I continually prove that with my work ethic on and off the field. I am very coachable and always willing to take advice given to me. I believe I would be a great fit on any college team because I work extremely hard, am dedicated, and lead by example. My passion for the game of baseball is constantly growing.
When I am not playing baseball, I play defensive back on the football team and on the varsity wrestling team. When I’m not playing school sports I love golfing, fishing, going on my boat, riding my bike, and weight training. One of my proudest accomplishments was when I earned a second-degree junior black belt in Kempo Ju Jitsu.
In summary, I hope to attend a college where I can apply all of the skills I have been working to achieve, in an environment where I can excel on and off the field. My motto is “If you persist you will succeed. I will persist, I will succeed”
