Nicholas Rempe '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicholas Rempe. I have a 3.5 GPA and am a High Honor Roll student. I currently take honors courses in History, Calculus, and Italian, and am also taking AP Language and Composition. I've also taken honors courses in Chemistry, Living Environment, Geometry, English, and Trigonometry. I play clarinet for my school's Wind Ensemble, play piano, and am currently on my school's winter track team. Once I started playing baseball at age 10, I developed a real passion for the game. Besides playing, I volunteer coach for Islip Travel Baseball with younger players. I also worked as a batboy for the minor league team Long Island Ducks this past summer and umpired at the Islip Little League. I aspire to work in the game in some capacity once my playing career is over. I look forward to getting a well-rounded college education and enjoy a successful college baseball experience. I believe that the success of the team is more important than individual achievement.
