My name is Dominic D’Onofrio. I am currently a freshman at the Harvey School in Katonah NY and am interested in becoming a student athlete playing baseball and I am contemplating majors in Criminal Justice, Architecture, Real Estate Development and the Classics.
My primary position is LHP and I also play 1B, sometimes RF. I am working hard at developing my pitching as well as strength and conditioning. I am working toward increasing velocity and adding more pitches to what I throw already. I am very comfortable with my fastball, but my curveball and changeup are really where I feel most confident. I also throw a cutter and my slider is in progress.
My teachers and coaches would agree I am a leader in the classroom, our school community and team. Respectful and coachable are two words I believe would be used to describe my personality by coaches and teachers. What distinguishes me from others is I am very coachable and my disposition will compliment a team and community. I have a strong work ethic and work to keep improving myself on and off the field always.
