Liam Riordan '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal in transferring is to play baseball on a collegiate level and earn a degree in business. I can provide great value to your pitching staff with efficiency, dominance, and character. 

Throughout my years pitching, and most recently on the Syracuse University Baseball Club team, I have proved to be an innings eater. In my last seven starts, I threw four complete games and led the team to a 5-2 record. My overall K/BB ratio during these games was 57:17. My WHIP was 0.886. I rarely face more than five batters in an inning. 

I have been known to dominate when facing collegiate competition. In the 2023 D2 NCBA regional playoffs against Fairfield, I pitched against collegiate starter Sheridan Dillon. In this pivotal matchup, I pitched a complete game and lead my team to an impressive 3-1 playoff win. This is one of many examples of my ability to rise above competition and dominate when it matters most.

Overall, I am a supportive teammate, friend, and family member. I am extremely passionate and knowledgeable about baseball. I possess a great deal of confidence and I lift the skill level of my teammates with my energy and poise on the mound.  I am positive that I can be an asset to any collegiate baseball team.
