First of all, I would like to thank you coach for taking the time to view my NCSA scouting report. I'm Cristian Fernandez and I am a 5'10" 170 pound middle infielder from New York City. I want to play college baseball because I am very passionate about the game. I play nearly year around and through the years have accumulated a thorough understanding of the game. I know I have what it takes to play at any division, whether it be 1,2,3, Juco, or even naia. My speed and athleticism highlight my abilities and if you ever see my play, I use them to make the 'non-routine' plays. I will stretch a single into a double, steal a base standing up, and make the diving plays up the middle. These are the skills I hope to bring to your college. I've been playing baseball ever since the age of four and through the help of my parents and coaches I have elevated my game to where it is today. As a son of parents who never went to college, I hope to get into the best possible school to make them proud. I hope you will consider recruiting me as I continue to get better both academically and athletically. Thanks again coach and I look forward to speaking with you in the future.
