Ever since I led my High School team at Yankee Stadium as a sophomore, I've been driven to get better and better so that playing at a major league stadium would be more of a regular experience. I can remember every speck of dirt on the field, how nicely the grass was trimmed and how comfortable the rubber and batters box felt under me. Getting the win on the mound and scoring the winning run meant everything to me and evoked the true love that I have for this sport. I work hard and maintain my stellar 4.0 GPA so I can get the chance to play at a high level in a great academic college!
