I am a 2020 grad at Saratoga Central Catholic School, I am the starting Varsity catcher for our team which is consistently one of the top teams in NYS for Class B. My school has a very good baseball program and I was honored to be called up to play with my teammates as an 8th grade starter. I play the highest level of travel ball for the Upstate Sports Academy which is a tournament team that travels the Northeast. I have demonstrated a very high level of defense and most of my career I have been known as a consistent hitter with power and excellent mechanics. I was selected to the All-Tournament Team for the 2015 Pony Eastern Regionals as a catcher. Also I was named to the 2017 Phil Waring memorial tournament. Named to the NYSPHAA Wasaren League 2017 All-Star team. In addition to being a catcher, I also play first base. I have demonstrated a great presence at first.
I have loved baseball since I started playing, I especially admire the great, defensive catcher Yadier Molina and offensively, I like Buster Posey.
I am looking for a reputable school with a great baseball program that will challenge me to get me to the next level. I am a hard worker and will continue to work on areas that need strengthening.
I have a great academic record, maintaining a 94 or above and making High Honor Roll or Honor Roll for every semester since sixth grade. I was selected to take a test to become eligible to skip eighth grade Math and Science and I was one of only two kids in my grade to score well enough to do so. I am taking High School Algebra and Biology. I am a member of National Junior Honor Society.
In addition to baseball and school, I volunteer every year through my CYO basketball team to help families at Christmas. I have volunteered at my local elementary schools, helping younger children make Christmas gifts for their families and our family adopts a family in need every year. I have a strong faith, which I have gotten from my family, especially my grandparents. I also play basketball for my school and CYO and I enjoy skiing. I like spending time with my family. I owe a lot to my Dad, who has helped me become pretty good at baseball.
