Personal Statement
I would love to play college baseball for a good program that I can excel in, both academically and athletically. I want to attend a school that will allow me to grow even more as a player and hopefully get me drafted at some point in my career. Wherever I play college baseball, I would love to play center-field and hopefully start there for multiple years. Though I would prefer to play center-field, I would also be open to learning other positions that the coaches see fit for my ability. In recent years I have also played several other positions in accordance with the needs of my team. College coaches should look to me to fill a spot on their team because I will fight to earn what they give me by working as hard as I possibly can in practice and in any free time that I get outside of my classes and homework. I am also a switch-hitter that feels quite comfortable on both sides of the plate. I have been praised throughout my baseball years for being a very aggressive base-runner that deceives the defensive players very well, allowing me to advance on the base paths. I am a very likeable player and person that works very hard in practice but still makes sure to have fun and enjoy the game. I have a deep love for the game of baseball and have a funny personality that could hopefully help in the locker room, the dugout, or the field. Along with what I do as an athlete, I am always sure to focus all the time that I need on school so that I do well in all of my classes. I am a hard working student that strives for perfection, I have been taught from a young age that education is top priority. Overall, I believe that I am a prospect that you should keep your eye on.
