Joseph Saccente '20 Recruiting Profile

    I am Joe Saccente, I live in West Islip New York (Long Island). I attend West Islip High School 2020 Graduate. I am in all regents with mid 85 grades at my high school.

    My strengths are fielding, reading the ball very well from the outfield. Great range in the outfield with an over average arm.  Works the count, fast hands through the ball. Can turn singles to doubles due to great speed and stamina. Putting the ball in play and using my speed to get on is always my number one priority.  I bring everything I have to every game. I do not mess around I take a leading role on the team always talking in the outfield to the team knowing where to go with the ball who is on the bases and who is up to bat. I am always receiving compliments from other teams coaches on my dedication and hustle on every ball.  I hustle on and off the field, my head is in the game from the time I get to the field till the last out is made. I am always first one there and last one to leave during games.

    I strive to be a better ball player everyday, in the off season going to indoor facilities 3 or more times a week, also going to my local gym 3-4 times a week, and during the season I am in my outdoor batting cage at home hitting off the tee, doing drills and hitting off a machine. Baseball is something I love to play and I would be grateful to play at the next level.
