For as long as I can remember, playing baseball at the highest level possible has always been a major goal of mine. As a pitcher, I like the fact that every play starts with me. I like that if I play my role well, my team has a good chance to win. I also love the fact that when I make mistakes, eight other guys can pick me up. Being a good teammate is important to me. What separates me from other recruits? From a character standpoint, I'm trustworthy, hard-working and coachable. From an athletics standpoint, I'm tall, fast and getting stronger by the day. Academically, I carry a 90-plus average and I'm coming off quarter in which I had a 94.
