My love of baseball has taught me many valuable lessons since I first picked up a bat at 3 years old. Through my years of playing baseball and as a captain of my travel team and school teams, I have learned to be a leader. I know what it means to be a good teammate and how to help others be the best they can be. Furthermore, I know the importance of work ethic and commitment to achieving a goal. Additionally, baseball has taught me how to perform under pressure. If I am at bat with the tying run on 3rd, or being brought in as a reliever with the bases loaded, I am prepared to handle it. Baseball has helped me become a better communicator, a better leader, a better student, and perhaps most importantly a better person. As I search for a college that will not only be right for me athletically, but also academically, I look forward to sharing these attributes with and making an impact on my next team.
