Losing in the semi finals of our conference championship tournament my freshman year was the first time I saw a teammate leave the game of baseball outside of their choice. Seeing the heartbreak in a senior's eyes created an awakening love for the game in me. I had chosen baseball over football after my seventh-grade year because I remember the choice between fall baseball or waiting to play the sport for another year was too much for me, I was in love! I have learned that I was not given all the God given talents to play baseball, but I was blessed with the steadfast work ethic that allows me to churn my gears day after day. Deepening my educational search, I maintain high standards to give myself the option to choose my future path in life. I see baseball as a pedestal to gain the skills that will help me become a man I aspire to be. I have always had to work twice as hard to get the things I want. I am a natural born leader, who can juggle on and off the diamond and currently holds multiple public speaking titles.
