Personal Statement
I am a junior at Hickory Ridge high school a 4 A High School in Harrisburg NC, a suburb of Charlotte. My current GPA is a 3.0 but I'm working hard in the classroom to improve my GPA and SAT scores to the minimum requirement for college entry. I love the Game of baseball and living in the south allows me to play and practice baseball almost year round at a high level. I enjoy catching but have pitched, played 3rd and 1st base. Being a former pitcher have given me the unique ability to help my team mates while catching by looking at there pitching mechanics and helping them make corrections. Making the 9th grade team was Co a humbling experience as I spent much more time on the bench then on the field. My dad told me I needed to get faster, stronger, and out work everyone else on the team. My dad said if I worked harder people would notice and this year they have. I also work hard in practice because nothing was ever given to me and I believe that if you have enough patience everything will come.
