Personal Statement
I am Mykah Johnson. My name is Mykah because of the book in the bible but it is spelled, Micah in the bible. My name is unique because you don't hear the name every day and if you hear my name most of the time it isn't spelled the way I spell my name. My name is also named after a very fragile rock spelled Mica.
The 2 main personality traits that would describe me are hardworking and kind-hearted. I am hardworking because everything I do, I give it 110% of my effort. One example of this would be me going to do stuff without being asked. An example of me being kind-hearted is me trying to help someone out when they're having a bad day. I am also extremely hard working because when I am not at school and not at baseball, I am working at my house or a customer's house. When I am working at my house I am either cleaning at home or doing any chores my parents ask me to do to help my family.
In life, I am a student who goes to school then goes to their sport after school. I do not only play a sport but I also support my fellow athletes at their sporting events. As a normal athlete, I go to school, practice baseball, and then go home and think about what I can do better in baseball to be a better player the next time I have the privilege to compete. I am also the team captain on my baseball team. I try to help my teammates strive to be the best person on and off the field. If I don't have an abundant amount of homework, I go to sporting events and I lead the student section of my high school in positive player encouragement. I strive to be a positive leader to all our students in the student section. I am also a part of my local fire department because I like being a part of my community and helping people that are not healthy. Being part of the fire department means that I am also someone who goes into dangerous situations and I try to either save someone or save their belongings in and outside of their house. If it isn't raining outside, I am outside my house or my customer's house landscaping their yard. When I landscape someone's house or my own home I mow grass, weed-eat, pick weeds, spray weeds, mulch flower beds, plant new flower beds, or remove leaves.
I will work to be a good student at this school because I am a hardworking student and I strive to be a good role model for other people.
