Adam Varner '21 Recruiting Profile

    My ultimate goal is to play professional football and/or baseball.  I understand that this is a steep dream.  My dad told me, "someone has to be on those teams, why not you?  If you really want it, go for it!"  With that being said, I do understand the long odds, and want to make the most out of every opportunity available.  I would consider my self fortunate to have to have the opportunity to play collegiate ball.

    My short term goals are to graduate high school with a  4.0 or higher GPA (currently 3.97), and find the right college both academically and socially while continuing to play the sport I love.  I plan to major in psychology  and possibly minor in business management. I would love to do something that may incorporate my love for sports.  In addition to baseball, I also play football and basketball.

    I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my statement.  I look forward to the recruitment journey of the next couple of years.  I can promise you I will continue to put in the hours on the field, in the gym, and in the classroom.
