Ryan Hodge '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0" senior third baseman/middle infield left handed hitter from Matthews, NC. One of the contributions I can make to a team is my work ethic. I started every game during my junior year for my high school varsity team and earned the Outstanding Offensive Player Award, while maintaining a 4.4 GPA (weighted), and earning my Eagle Scout rank. I am interested in playing at the highest level attainable, a medium to larger university, where I can emphasize academic excellence as well. I would like to stay in the Southeast, especially NC, SC, VA, GA region, but would consider other opportunities. I am undecided on the choice of my major but I am leaning toward engineering. I would like to make an impact on a team and would like to play early. I am coachable and cool headed in all situations.
